Asociación Textil de Galicia (ATEXGA) has hosted the kick off meeting of the European Project VM-TEXTRANSF funded by European Lifelong Learning Programme, sub-program Leonardo da Vinci.
The entities that will develop the project together with ATEXGA will be, from Denmark, TEKO Design + Business, VIA University College. From Turkey, University Adana, from Greece, the company IDEC and from Lithuania, Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association (Lithuania Textile Association)
The project aims to meet the training needs of the textile sector in Spain, Turkey, Greece and Lithuania through the transfer of methodologies and innovative content for virtual merchandising by the Danish partner. The project will be implemented between 1st of October 2012 and 30th of September 2014.
During the project, the partners will develop activities to improve the training of the textile sector professionals from the countries involved in the project. This improvement will provide a better marketing curriculum profile and opportunities in the labour market for the beneficiaries.
